Cris, I agree! I’d love to live all over! I spent close to a year in Russia but other than that I’ve been in the US. Patrick, learning does rule! Are you feeling the fire? |

WOW, I love Russian. I wish I would have time to learn it. It’s the next language I’d love to speak. It’s so rare to find people that knows Russian here in the US though. Hi Patrick! I am loving it as much as you are :) |

Hallo, my name is Kathy. I am an American living in the Netherlands! I am enjoying my life here, but need to learn more Dutch! My sweety is from here, and of course, speaks fluent Dutch (he also speaks wonderful English) and I am trying to find ways to learn while he is out on his job. The flash cards on this site are awesome, and I have found that I know more Dutch than I thought I did – wish there were more videos, the pronunciation of the words is where I am most needing help! Thanks for a cool site! |

Hi Everyone, I am new here and want to introduce myself. I just love it that I found a community that unites so many people and all the languages in the world. If I could I would speak each and every language there is. I love languages, other cultures and I love to communicate with people from everywhere. If nothing else, I hope to make lots of friends from everywhere. Feel free to send me a message anytime. Have a gorgeous day! Hugs, :) |

Welcome Cris! How do you like living in the US? |
Thanks Stephanie! Hi Christina, it’s not all bad. Where do you live? |
Cris, I also live in the US. In California actually. I was just curious how you liked it compared with other countries you’ve lived in. |
wow this is so cool i mean OMG!!!! learning rules! |
Oh OK. Well, this is only the second country I’ve lived in. I wish I could travel all voer though. Maybe someday… |

Welcome Kathy, I think for starters you will love the edufire community. Then when you find yourself a good Dutch tutor you will have solved your pronunciation problem. How long have you lived in the Netherlands? How long do you plan to stay? I have a good friend at work who is Dutch and if he is any indication, the Dutch must be wonderful. |

Thanks Susan! I have lived in the Netherlands for 2 months now, and plan to stay indefinately, as long as the Dutch Government lets me! =) I am loving the people here in this country, they are kind, and enjoy life! It will be nice to practice with a tutor. |

Hi Kathy, well I think you are in luck; it looks like there are about 7 Dutch tutors on the site. You should pick one and do a free trial lesson. Maybe you will find the perfect one for you. Besides, you have nothing to lose. |

Obrigada Clarissa! :) |

Thanks for all the welcomes! I didn’t realize you could do a free session with the tutors, that’s excellent! I will give it a try! |
