Hello I am new to this wonderful innovation Teaching tools- EduFire. I wan to try this as ASL tutor. I have taught ASL 15 + years and I want to find ways to cut down the cost of gas and saving environment. I hope this website will prevail and satisfy my worrying-mind. :-)

I think what you’d like to achieve on eduFire is fabulous.

To upload your picture, go to your ‘My eduFire’ page, then choose ‘Your profile’ on the right, then Edit your profile. Once you’re there, about two thirds of the way down on the right you’ll see where you can upload your pic.

If you need further help or indeed have any other questions please post them and everybody will be delighted to help. :)

Hi Laura! I knew ASL would rock on here! I bet you’re going to fill a popular niche =) I tried to teach my son some sign language but gave up after he learned more and milk…I should have kept going. I think he was about to make a break through. But with the next one I am totally going to try it (whenever that will be)

Wow Laura – great idea! My son is Autistic and when he was very young (and nonverbal) we encouraged him to interact and start communicating with Signs – it opened him up so much and now he is very verbal (be careful what you wish for ;) ).

I think this is a great place for you to be and a great service you are offering – Welcome!

I think that it is wonderful that ASL is a language you can learn on here. I’ve been wanting to learn how to sign for a long time. I hope the site works for you and does indeed satisfy your worrying-mind. :)

I just saw your profile a few minutes ago and I thought what a great idea! I wish that I had taught some basic signs to my first son because he took so long to talk and was so very frustrated when we didn’t understand his needs (or better yet, wants).

How exciting!!! ASL online is a great idea! I used to know the alphabet, and a few key phrases and/or words. I may have to stop by your profile to set up a session! See you around the forums!
