Hi there, my name is Wesley. I’m looking to teach online as there’s a scarcity of students looking to learn English where I live and most want evening classes which doesn’t work out well if you ever want to do anything in the evenings/meet some friends etc. Anyway, I’ve been teaching EFL for a few years now and also have a background in working in a call centre with Europeans (that means French/German/Spanish etc. for you Americans….;-)) of various shapes and sizes and also studying languages/linguistics. I hope to get up and running online and eventually maybe teach full-time online if possible. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks agus slainte. Wesley |

Nice to meet you Wesley and welcome to eduFire :) I am sure you will get plenty of advice but the best thing you can do initially is register for a couple of the teacher related classes for new teachers. click here to register Here you will get to see the teaching platform in operation and ask questions too. In the mean time, just let me know if I can help any more. |

Were glad to have you join us Wesley :) Debbie is right, it will be good to take a couple classes before you start teaching to understand how our platform works and get a feel for how you would like to teach online :) |
