Hello everyone, I’m a new teacher, or new, I have been teaching for more than 23 years, but I’m new to EduFire. I have followed the course with Marco yesterday and I’m following his advice to stop by the forum. I have to admit that I’m not really a forum kind of person, not that I don’t like to write, believe me I do, but I write on quite a few blogs so with teaching and writing (and let’s not forget my kids and husband) time is limited. Let me introduce myself, my name is Jose, that is a Dutch name so it’s not Gose. I am Dutch, I have studied in my fatherland (Bsc. in English literature and a teaching degree in Dutch) but after my studies I moved to Greece, where I met my husband and have been living since. I have been teaching in an English Language School for 22 years besides tutoring 1on1 in both English and Dutch. I have two kids, both boys. I have been teaching for about a year now online and most recently came across this site through a discussion we had on a blog. I do hope that people will get to know me better either through the forum or through my lessons. |
