Hi, I am an Ex-Pat living in the Washington DC area. I’ve been in the US for 18 years and have tried very hard to retain my German and Italian language skills. Welcome Angela! Where are you orginally from? It is hard to retain languages when you’re not using them. I have found that I have the same problem with Russian. I’ve lost a lot of what I knew. |
