Hi everyone, |
Hi Andrew, You have come to the right place..I think someone will be able to help answer your question, I’m sorry I can’t as I am not familiar with SE VA. Welcome to eduFire!! |
Hi Andrew! I am in England so I don’t know either!! |
Hi Andy, and welcome to eduFire! Have you tried Googling for the German Group in your area? Or have you tried doing a search at http://groups.yahoo.com/? I am sure you could get one started by simply posting on www.craigslist.org in your area, or even using yahoo groups, or you could attempt to get one started by networking here! Good luck. See you around the forums! |

Guten tag Andy |

Feel free to chat in German here on the forums as well! |

Welcome to edufire, Andy! Have a nice time here. |
Welcome! I bet you will find something online, but in the meantime hope you like eduFire! |
Hello Andy, Great to know you use eduFire |
Hi, Andy There are a number of language exchange services springing up on-line, where people look to speak half the time in the language they are learning, and half the time in the language they know in order to help someone else. DK if I can post example sites on the boards, but you can use your favorite search engine to find them. A searching for “language exchange.” should work. |
That sounds great! I will check it out. Im so glad that these websites are springing up. I didn’t know there were so many people with the same scheduling issues as me. |
Everyone, Andrew is a great student of the German Language and actually has learned the language on his own through books and tapes :) Keep up the great work and remember Edufire is a great place for people who have busy lives and schedules to maintain lol :) |
Thanks John that means a lot to me. I hope that I can become a better student of German, learning with the people of Edufire. Ich lebe Deutsch!! |
Ok, this has nothing to do with languages but Andrew – that is just the most adorable photo you have! |
This also has nothing to do with languages… I agree with Sandra about the photo! :) |
Thanks Sandra and Marco. Thats my daughter and she is learning german as well. |
They say Andrew the young a child learns a Foreign Language the better :) How old is she? |
She just turned 5. You are right she seems to remember everything I teach her after only once or twice of being told. She loves to tell everyone she sees what she has learned. She is my inspiration. |
Aw that is so sweet. Kids are very inspirational that is for sure! |
