Hello, from Pamela in Vermont, USA

I am here to learn Castillian Spanish, as my husband’s family is from there, and we want to raise our children to be bilingual.I have studied Spanish on-and-off most of my life, since pre-school, so I have a lot of sleeping brain cells full of Spanish that I need to wake up. I can’t wait!

I have traveled to 26 countries so far in my life, through an intense desire to see the world and a share of good fortune that got me there. I have mostly visited Western Europe, but I’ve also been to Greece, Turkey, and Syria, and to Morocco. My dream is to live for some time in Castillian Spain with my family, so we can become as familiar as possible with the country and its culture.

I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, and it’s so wonderful to have native Spanish speakers and Latino communities to visit. Here in Vermont, It’s about 95% WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant), and it gets boring if you’re used to a vibrant, multicultural commmunity. (We really need to move back to the West Coast!).

I really love learning, and I’m excited to find eduFire!
