Danny, you can attend classes if your are 13 and over. However, you can not attend recorded classes if your are under 18.

Depends on how the teacher sets the class. Its the teachers decision.

I personally accept everybody. And Tyler is right. I don’t record my classes, therefore I can accept under 18 .

Well Enrique…. I never record my classes…. and twice I’ve been told it was set for 18 and over…. After having checked w Marco, he said it was public…. I never saw any option – when creating a class – saying public (or, for that matter, private ).

It was fixed…. but we never really had an answer as why it had happened. I’ll quote Marco “your guess is as good as mine!” :D

Lyne. I believe that by default its set for the 18+.
You have to change it manually. Not 100% sure on this one, though.

Hmmm Enrique…. but where? I always make sure to check the NOT recorded session checkbox…. besides that, I don’t see anything else…. Do you? :D

Lyne:

That’s the one I meant.

I just created a new class, and had no issue…….ohhh, but I cloned it

Ahem! :)

My ‘quote’ was in relation to setting up the class and Lyne swearing that she didn’t check the box yet it was checked. What we could do Lyne is set up the class together to make 100% sure there’s no bug on your profile when it comes to setting up classes? Let me know mon ami.

@Enrique…. actually one of the class saying 18+ was one I had cloned (and was okay before I cloned it)…. go figure!

@Marco mon ami!…. I will certainly ask for your assistance when I’ll set up my 2nd series of classes at the end of the month! :D

Umm, I’m not sure if this is the right topic I should post in, if it’s not, feel free to delete, and I apologize.

Well, I was thinking about a few of the 18+ classes.

I now understand that they are usually that way because of the recording, but I was looking for a few ACT classes, and they’re for 18+ xD. But I thought that most people took the ACT in their junior or senior year… I take mine next spring, in my junior year, where I will only be 16.

This makes me sad XD, and I might just go with a tutor instead. ^^;

Yes, it’s all about the recording Rachael though you’ve made a really good point. If you message a teacher and tell them not to make it a recorded class, they’ll have a whole group of students available to join!
