Is it for one hour?

That’s a good question Mijuka. I know my one-to-one tuition prices are per hour, and I think you would find that was true for many tutors, but some do indicate that the price is per half-hour or per 45minutes. Here is an example from my friend Katia Maybe it would be a good idea to check by sending a message if you are thinking of doing a one-to-one session.
The length of one-to-many classes varies though I think they have a 45 minute minimum (at least for Superpass classes).

Hmmm the ‘priciness’ depends on what part of the world you are in I think. I charge $40 per hour for face-to-face Maths tuition in the UK and that is not unreasonable here.
On eduFire, Superpass isn’t for one-to-one teaching at the moment and there is a minimum charge of $10 for any one-to-one session – that is an eduFire rule.

with super pass, there is no one on one tutoring, but sometimes you are lucky if you attend a class and no one shows up but you, then it looks like one on one, but it does not happen often.

Hello – I believe that Superpass applies to 1 to M classes only. 1-1 Tutoring of $25.00 or what ever is reasonable… if you think about it…. You have the complete and undivided attention and focus of the instructor for the length of time for your session. They probably also will correspond with you via email for followup support depending on the tutor and the subject.
Let’s face it peoples time is valuable and they also spend time preparing the class for you as well as delivering it to you and being available for follow-up. All in all they are probably making about 2 to three dollars an hour when you take into account the time they put into delivering a class to you. Often tutors will offer a Superpass class that is 1-M and you might scroll through the Classes section and see what you find…
Best of Luck to you!

In addition to the above, Mijuka, I totally recommend you attend student orientation. See the link on your ‘My eduFire’ page.
