Hey All,

A few of you had signed up for my class in September. Unfortunately I was unwell and could not not host the class. THANKS a lot for your kind words and concerns and Apologies for not being able to take the class.

I am starting the class again from Sunday October 25th.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

And that’s what we will aim to learn- a thousand words.
10 words a day for 100 days.
I loved words. Memorized a lot of them 10 years back when I gave my GRE. I secured 97 percentile in my verbal section.
And for TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) I scored 670/677.
Recently, I found my verbal edge was beginning to wane. So I thought it would be nice to learn the words again and see how much I know.
Here is the format for each class:
10 words
For each word:
meaning
usage
synonyms
antonyms
Duration: 60 minutes
30 minutes teaching with lots of time (30 minutes) for Q&A; and you can share your ways to remember and associate the words with the words you already know/ are more familiar with.

Please check out this class I’m teaching on eduFire.

Hope to see you in the class.

best wishes
Kamal

Thanks Jeremiah :)
Yes, much better and back in action :)

Also for all those interested in improving their vocabulary, there are numerous sites on the web. However, I strongly recommend the website

http://www.freerice.com/

FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Program. FreeRice has two goals:

Provide education to everyone for free.
Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

The more you play the word game, the more food is donated to the UN World Food program. You can learn vocabulary, improve your word power and help those in need.

Do please try it out, even if you don’t have the time/ inclination to join the class :)
