With all the Japanese tutors, teachers and students, how come there is no JLPT section in this forum?

I am just wondering do we really need a special section for JLPT Exam? That probably might give a feel as if this site is specific to JLPT or something. The Languages & Test prep section can be used to discuss anything related to JLPT. Also, if in case we are planning to have a JLPT section, I would suggest to have many sub sections under the Test Prep forum like JLPT, SAT, GMAT, TOEFL, RHCE, etc. If not classify them broadly as

Test Prep
– Computer Certifications
– Language Certifications
– Competency Certification

blah blah!

This is just my opinion.

We have added JLPT. You can access it here. Now we just need to get some people teaching JLPT classes! :)

And I agree that this forum is badly categorized :)

Please tell me specifically what you want to learn for JLPT 3 (listening, writing, reading, grammar, etc….) You should by now know your weaknesses. Mine in particular is speaking, followed closely by listening. I am stronger in reading, grammar, and then writing.

I would say that my biggest problem is definitely listening…. I have a hard time understanding even slowly spoken text even if I would have no problem whatsoever reading it….

I’m planning a prep class for those of you trying for Level 3. The first session will be free this weekend, so feel free to come by and check it out! It’s also open to alteration, so let me know what you really want to work on. See you there~
