Italian for tourists!

Thinking of visiting Italy sometime soon? You’ll need to eat, sort out money, accommodation, travel around sightseeing, buy stuff! It’ll all be here. :)

@ Mary – my apologies – I misunderstood your comment of ‘everything in life is a choice’. :o)

@ Mary – I’m not sure that everything in life is a choice. For example, many people depression is not a choice – it is an illness. Depressed people don’t want to be depressed and some successfully mask it with humour. The world tends to think they are happy people because that is the mask that is on show.

But I do agree with you that life does have high moments and low moments and the trick is to enjoy the good times when they are present and to remember those times when it feels like the world is falling apart around you. And like a lot of life, that is easier said than done.

I totally agree, teaching online and face-to-face is the same. I was only referring to refunding. Face-to-face you have a more student/teacher relationship as in, you’ve met, they may be local etc. When they can’t make it they usually call, they already know you have a no refund policy if you are sitting in the class waiting. Most reasonable people wouldn’t expect a refund if they have paid you and don’t bother telling you they can’t attend (genuine ‘emergency’ reasons aside).

Online however, it is a little different and hence refunds are given more willingly.
