Everything is in the title!
Dear students,
Music is excellent to learn and practice your pronunciation, enlarge your vocabulary and learn about a culture. No matter what your level is!
Like most of you I love music, so I’d love to share my favorites with you. Please, do the same with me here but remember music in French ONLY is admitted;-) Thank you in advance for your kind interest and collaboration:-)
Enjoy the music,
Katia

I commented on the blog, but I would like to add that, as much as I love the USA, it is becoming a country for wealthy people only.
That’s one reason I wanted eduFire to allow signatures in the forum.

Oh that is cool! The first thing that came to my mind was: could we join forces with these people and teach?
Yeehaw! Agreed! Let’s get something more comprehensive and user-friendly…. pretty please :)?
Me too, Koichi, till I got to college! Then, I had a wonderful teacher who would actually explain clearly.
Inspiration implies passion, I agree! I think we are inspired by greatness, in whatever context, and that may not be something we can achieve. For example, I may be inspired by a wonderful musician, but not motivated to learn how to play since I know I’ll never be as good as him.
Motivation is a call for action. Motivation makes us want to achieve something and we set realistic goals.

I like this post :)!
So, you see motivation as solely an external force? I never thought of it as only external, and I tend to get motivated by goals I set for myself.
As a parent, I’ve often tried to find ways to motivate my children, but once they were old enough to think for themselves, I found that it had to come from themselves. I’m not talking about things like rewards for good grades or good behavior. While positive reinforcement works, the desired result stops when the reward stops. I think that’s not motivation, that’s just bribery.
I agree that inspiration talks to your inner self or core. However I see it more as an idea, or ideal rather than a drive to achieving a goal.
