I honestly think that teaches should study the marketing techniques of movie actors and media professionals. When we teach online- the students see us and we seldom see them. Like an audience watching in a movie theater. This is a great topic! We are not just teachers. We are our own unique brand!

Andrew, I submit that most rock stars have been teachers all along (admittedly, not always conciously! ;) In fact that was Jim Morrison’s basic premise, and why his group took its name from Huxley’s “Doors of Perception” :)
