Idea: make it possible that teachers can send a mail about new classes they offer to all students of that subject

For example, if I offer a new class in German, I would like to be able to send a mail about that class to all students who said they are here to study German (among other subjects).
And maybe set it up so that students who don’t want to get those alerts can opt out and will not receive them.

I like the idea. Though I'd like the default to be to 'opt-in' to receive them, maybe you meant this. 5 stars from me.

Hi Marco, Yes, the default could be anything really as long as students see it before they agree. In the online social groups I organize, people can choose the type of mails they want to get from that group and the frequency (eg 'as they are sent' or 'once a day' or 'once a week')
