I know, you want to encourage people etc etc and they only “pay” if they “play” but it is very difficult to deliver a presentation to a ghost audience of thirty people. The probably signed up cause they didn’t read the prerequisites properly or it sounded interesting but they didn’t have time. My thinking is that after three sessions these individuals receive an automated message reminding them that they registered but have not attended. If there is a problem we can help them with to contact either the teacher or edufire or if there is no problem to let them know their registration will be removed. None of the above alieviates the teacher from contacting registrees and asking “is everything okay” My two cents!
