About Me

Before reading my personal introduction, please beware that at the moment I am not available on edufire due to academic reasons.

I will be happy to come back once I am done with my duties, after the summer of 2010.

Now, you can know a bit more about me and maybe get back to me in a few months ;)…

I am a language teacher specializing in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

For two years I have worked teaching English and Spanish. However, during the last year I have been concentrating in Spanish as this is my native language, hence this makes it easier for me to teach what a language is: a way of communicating and acting in an specifically cultural and social way. Being native I have the opportunity to teach my language together with the cultural and social richness that comes with it.

Though my experience in teaching includes mainly face-to-face tuition my aim is to address my profession into the online world as this will allow me to invest more time in my continual professional and personal development and at the same time dedicate more to other things I enjoy such as environmental activism and raising cultural awareness in youngsters.

I expect to reach part of that goal here and help those who are interested in my rich and beautiful language and culture to learn about them.
