The 6th season of my lessons in Japanese is on again, and classes are still growing. Are you coming? I’ve met so many interesting people here on eduFire, all with a passion for learning and sharing that is hard to find anywhere else. Why don’t you join us?
Japanese for Absolute Beginners is the complete course for getting started in Japanese. There are full class notes available exclusively in PDF format, Smart.fm lists for vocabulary building and video guides to useful expressions in Japanese.
The class is accompanied by a Language Lab, where you put into practice the phrases, expressions and vocabulary learnt in the first class in a low-stress conversational environment.
Only slightly more advanced than Absolute Beginners, this class focuses on expanding your vocabulary and improving your ability to construct your own sentences in Japanese
It is followed by a Language Lab, which gives you the best opportunity to experiment with your new-found conversational confidence.
If you have some experience of Japanese but need to breakthrough to real fluency, you might also be interested in Fast Track to Fluency in Japanese. In this language ‘hacks’ lesson I cover techniques to immediately increase your fluency, stuff you won’t find in textbooks. Class numbers are limited so you’ll have more personalised attention and the best chance to talk.
Field Mice and Japanese Mnemonics uses an ancient Greek a memory peg system and a children’s story book about two field mice to accelerate your learning. Sound like fun? It sure is! There is a Smart.fm list and video reading of the book to help you expand your memory and retention of new vocabulary

At home I speak mostly Japanese with my wife and our two kids. I’m at an upper intermediate level of Japanese, written and spoken. I am keen to take on beginner to intermediate level students of Japanese.
