About Me

Susan Choe is the Chairman and Founder of Outspark. She draws upon her more than 15 years of international business management in the video game, internet and financial services industries to lead Outspark’s efforts to reshape the US casual games industry.

Prior to founding Outspark, Susan most recently served as COO at NHN USA, where she led the US game market entry for Asia’s flagship game portal, NHN/Hangame. Susan also served in many capacities at Yahoo! As director of international operations she managed Yahoo’s 25 international operations, as international director of Yahoo! Games, where she defined and implemented premium games growth strategy, and as director of Corporate Development, where she led investments and acquisitions across games, communities and music.

Susan’s other experiences include serving as vice president of business development for a start-up in e-learning space, Global English., a senior corporate development role at Yahoo!, and seven years in financial services working with CSFBDIRECT, Merrill Lynch and American Express. Susan holds a master’s degree in international finance and business from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from UC Irvine.
