Okay. I came to EduFire an eager Japanese student. Somehow, though, my mind was changed, and I’m FERVENTLY studying Mandarin Chinese right now. There’s something about Mandarin that just makes it sound so beautiful, you know? Of course, I’m just a beginner, but that’s not stopping me.
Besides. I just found out a few years back that I’m actually part Chinese (like .0000001% Chinese, but still, haha). That gives me motivation as well as a sense of pride.
With that said, my original plan was to teach English in Japan, but I think I’ve changed my mind. I think I’ll just stick around the US and teach here. I’ll just travel to Mainland China whenever I can. Hehe. :D
