My goal is French fluency with a native accent. Je voudrais parler français couramment sans accent.
My level is low beginner according to the test at about.french.com but perhaps at the level of an American university student after 1 year of French. I have not yet passed the DELF A1 but I’m nearly ready. I just need a little more work on oral comprehension. I intend to pass DALF C2.
I was recently planning to travel to Paris to takes classes when the director of the Alliance Française in Portland, Oregon, USA offered to create an intensive course for me. I finished this course in three weeks and discovered eduFire a little after that.
If I request a session from a tutor, I am asking the tutor to become part of the team that helps me unlock the culture of France — with the primary objective to learn the language fluently.
With each new tutor, I am never sure where to start. I have several books that I am using for self study and after our first session, if a new tutor wants to suggest another book, I could buy that and we would work though that book. Or, we could just take each session and work on whatever is difficult for me at the time.
