About Me

I live in Canada, near the city of Toronto. My first experience with teaching English was as a volunteer at a local conversation circle for newcomers to Canada and other learners. I enjoyed it so much, I decided to pursue teaching formally. I’ve taught face-to-face classes and private lessons to amazing students, and look forward to meeting more online through eduFire!

I am interested in languages, language acquisition, other cultures, music, hiking, camping, ancient civilizations, the game of go/wei qi/baduk, environmentally friendly residential design, and almost anything Japanese or Italian.
