I’ve been teaching Japanese past 10 years at Univ, companies, language schools in the States, Australia and Singapore. I’m patient, cheerful and fun-loving person.

My teaching style is unique as I’m not teaching merely a language, but its culture too. To understand how Japanese use their language is equally important as knowing its grammar. I find many mistakes of Japanese learners such as the usage of “-san” and “anata (you)”. This is because learners tend to replace the target language to their native language. If you don’t notice the usage of the language, it’s hard to correct by oneself.
Japanese is the language that context and relationship of the speakers strongly affect their speech style.
You cannot just repeat what the other party says. For example, even your boss greets to you “ohayoo” you cannot reply “ohayoo” to him/her because s/he is your boss.
I’ll explain clearly about this kind of fact in my lesson.
By the way, I’m familiar with following textbooks
Minna no Nihongo
Yookoso
Japanese for busy people
Genki (a little)
Besides, I have many other books and reference books for learning Japanese.
Learning Japanese is Fun!
