About Me

Hello my new Edufire friends!

Teaching and traveling are my two greatest passions! I’m happy to be here to teach English. I have extensive experience teaching ESL to Latino youth at the Hispanice Center of Western Michigan. I also taught ESL in the classroom to adults. In January, I did my student teaching in Mexico in order to be certified in TEFL. It was a great experience! This fall I’ll be teaching pre-kindergarten. I know it will be a lot of fun! I’m also here to learn. I’m Chicana, however, my Spanish has not been used in over 5 years. Shame on me! Time to get back to my roots! Who knows? I may like learning on Edufire so much I end up learning at least 3 more languages! Looking forward to meeting all of you!
