**** IMPORTANT: All classes are cancelled until further notice due to schedule conflicts and technical difficulty. I’m sorry for any inconveniences this may cause you.****
If you’ve been attending my classes and wish to review, recently signed up and don’t want to get completely lost during class, or missed a class and would like to look at what we learned that week, go to http://drop.io/japanese_powerpoints
to download my powerpoint presentations to your computer. When you log in, the password is “edufire”.
When you request a tutoring session, or if you’re thinking about requesting tutoring from me, please contact me by email or an instant messaging service. Instant messaging is preferred. This is my method of getting to know you, your personality, your schedule, your exposure to a language, how you learn best, etc., so that I can plan my classes and tutoring sessions around you, and the level of whichever language you’re currently on. If you can, on MSN please send a message with the request to add me that tells me who you are. Thanks!

I’m a junior in high school, and a native English speaker, as well as an Advanced Placement student. Therefore, I feel that I am qualified to help American students who are struggling in their school classes improve their skills with writing, grammar, recognizing rhetorical devices, etc. Though I’ve only had one year of formal Japanese classes, I also learned on my own for two years, and was exposed to written and spoken Japanese for a year prior. Teaching Japanese is my passion, and I plan on going to Arizona State University to pursue a degree in Japanese education.
Personally, I’m a bit of a video game nerd- but only for older games, like Super Mario 64 and Legend of Zelda II. I recently rediscovered GameBoy Advance with one of my friends, and going to every GameStop in town finding games for it has been an adventure. :) Coffee is my life and I love love love blogging. I’m also using eduFire to study Mandarin, psychology and Russian… I suppose you could say I’m a bit of a nerd all around. :) Nerdiness aside, I look forward to seeing you in class!
