I’m back in the states after living in Germany for a year via a professional visitation. It was one of the best experiences of my life and one of the most unexpected as I studied Spanish since middle school. Before relocating, my interests in Germany consisted of a childhood crush on Boris Becker and my adorable cousins who I grew up speaking with on the phone but had never met in person. My German ist nicht so stark! But I have fun learning it and look forward to meeting more fans of the language and culture.
