Hello my new Edufire friends!
Teaching and traveling are my two greatest passions! I’m happy to be here to teach English and beginners Spanish. I have extensive experience teaching ESL to Latino youth , I also taught ESL in the classroom to adults. In January, I did my student teaching in Mexico in order to be certified in TEFL. It was a great experience! This fall I’ll be teaching pre-kindergarten. I know it will be a lot of fun!
I’m also here to learn. My goal is to learn 3 new languages at the very least.
Besides traveling & languages…my great loves are Reggae, dancing and my amazing Belizean husband-to-be.

Wow, Raquel was awesome! She was very fun and seemed very receptive to my needs, and adjusted the lesson to my level of understanding. I highly recommend her for Spanish tutoring!!! What fun our session was, I will be using her again for sure!
Raquel is really fabulous! She is an experienced English and Spanish teacher, if you need to learn either of these languages I definitely recommend you drop Raquel a line!
