About Me

I have been teaching for over 15 years. I have taught both in English and Spanish. For the first 7 years of teach, I taught only Spanish, in a bilingual classroom. Then when the bilingual program was done away with, I started teaching English Structured Immersion Classes. I took a year off teaching, and became a Title 1 Coordinator and a Bilingual Coordinator. While I learned a lot during that year, I missed teaching! I came back to the classroom, where I know I make a differnce. I believe that all children have the ability to learn, they just need time to develop at their own pace.
When I am not working in my classroom with my students, I am working directly with other teachers and helping them develop their skills. My favorite subjects for teaching are Math, Writing, Reading, Spanish.
