About Me

Hi! My name is Abbi, and I’m currently residing in Manila, Philippines. I am a proficient speaker both in English and Tagalog.

I find that most people who try to speak these languages seem to have difficulty in sounding casual, and tend to sound robotic. My approach in teaching both languages is to make it fun, simple, and easy to retain in memory, by relating it to your needs, your purpose of learning, YOU.

Here are some things you might want to know about me:

I was a debater for seven years, from Highschool all the way to College. I was sent to several national and international public speaking and adjudication forums and competitions.

I am a the senior writer for a website that is on its way to its launch called PI Nights, a website devoted to Philippine tourism in the Urban Metro setting.

I have taught ESL (English as Second Language) to many different nationalities, mostly Koreans, Chinese, and Filipinos. I have also helped a lot of my friends who are visiting the country with a basic list of Filipino expressions that would be useful to their stay here in the Philippines.

I was also previously a Product and Skills Trainer for a US-based BPO company.

Currently, I am a Events and Marketing Associate for a leading urban lifestyle company in Manila, which demands for my communication skills to be on point all the time!

I am a girl about town, and can share knowledge even beyond the language! I would cater best to people who are finding a way to learn the language in a fun and personalized system.
