Questions & Concerns / General FAQs

• “What do I need to take a lesson with you?”
  You’ll need either a WACOM drawing tablet or a video camera mounted and pointed at your drawing surface to take lessons with me – I have to watch you draw or I won’t know how to help!
• “What’s your teaching specialty?”I prefer to teach people how to draw and paint from their imagination – something which is very different from drawing from a photo reference or even a live model. My goal is to teach people so that they can draw any subject from any angle – and if they use photo reference, that they should be able to re-create the image but change the angles, the lighting, the situation.
• “I need to cancel/reschedule my lesson!”
  Tell me in advance as soon as you can, preferably the day before, but even so, SOME warning is better than none at all.
