About Me

Hi, I am an Oxford (England) Maths Graduate with a Post Graduate teaching qualification (PGCE FE). I have ten years experience as a Lecturer in Maths, Statistics and Computing and I still enjoy tutoring those subjects at GCSE, GCE A level and beyond, but I am in the process of coming over from the Dark Side :-)


With about 7 years of Latin learning including GCSE, two Open University Latin modules, and one Open University Ancient Greek module, I am re-inventing myself as a tutor in Classical Languages and Literature. I tutor beginners in Ancient Greek and am happy to take all levels of Latin including translation of original texts.

Because of my ability to think in a very structured way, and my well developed communication skills in English, I can also help with planning and writing essays.

I specialise in helping people who are struggling and particularly those preparing for exams at the last minute. I can help with a variety of subjects in this respect, being very good at developing exam strategies.
