She was happy to let me pull my 3 year old son in for 15 minutes while he held up his favorite toys and she told him what they were called in Spanish. Then she spent the rest of the time helping me with a number of sentences and phrases I badly wanted to learn so that I could carry on better conversation with my Latino friends at the local park.
