About Me

I’m a Semi-Retired IT Professional with 20 Plus Years of Software Development Experience. During my hands-on software development career I also taught and trained. That means over 15 Years of Training & Teaching Experience training fellow programmers interested in upgrading to C++ and later Java as well as providing Occupational Retraining for individuals with academic backgrounds as Software Engineers.

My interest is providing good conceptual understanding of the subject being explored, and providing my students with the opportunity to acquire skills and understanding through series of step-by-step hands on challenges wherein they apply the knowlegde acquired theoretically.

Tutorials & Coaching

I am available for One-on-One intensive learning sessions focused on a subject of the student’s choice. These tutorial sessions are designed to assist course participants who missed a particular course session to make up the material or to assist anyone with a need for an intensive review of a particular subject.

Other Interests

My background in Judaism and Jewish Philosophy comes from a childhood interest which blossomed into my second true love. For the first ten years of my (at-this-point-in-time) thirty-five year marriage, I learned full-time in Rabbinic schools in the Land of Israel. Although I subsequently decided to make my living as a Software Professional, I continued learning and teaching privately as time permitted.
