Welcome!

Hello from an American in Japan! Thank you very much for reading my profile.

My name is Greg. I am a 32-year old American living and working in Tokyo, Japan. I am a business lawyer, but I love teaching. I have experience teaching many subjects, including English, law, and business. I have taught ESL conversation and ESL writing in a major international center in New York City, as well as English in public schools and community classes in America and Japan.

Of course, I enjoy helping others learn, but I really love making new friendships through teaching and learning together. If you want to learn English for conversation, school, travel, or just as a fun hobby, then I am very happy to teach you. If you want to improve your English for a job or to advance in your career, then I have the business and law experience to help you succeed. If you want to take exams like TOEFL, TOEIC, LSAT, GRE, or GMAT, I will work with you to get your best score.

I am a 2002 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School in America. I completed my undergraduate studies at Tulane University in New Orleans. I spent one year as an international student at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and one summer as a student at Harvard University. My legal career began at a major corporate firm in Boston. Later, I moved to New York for a new legal job. I worked in Japan from 2006 to 2007 before returning to America for about 2 years. Now I am living, working, and eating too much again in Tokyo, Japan.
