About Me

Hello there. My name is Craig McAngus. I am 23 years old and I come from the North-East of Scotland. I recently completed my BA in Politics at the University of Stirling, and I am currently studying towards an MSc in Political Research at the University of Strathclyde.

I like to talk about politics, in particular political theory and philosophy, Scottish politics, British politics and the writings of George Orwell. I have worked with a political party here in Scotland, as well as being involved in student political bodies and a prestigious organization in the voluntary sector. I also worked as tour guide at Stirling Castle.

With Edu Fire, I hope to gain some experience teaching basic level politics, as well as helping people understand some concepts which may, at first, seem a little complicated. It is my aim for students to leave classes feeling more confident, as well as providing a platform to go on and do more self-learning.

As I am new to this service, I aim to start out with a couple of really basic classes based around discussion. I want students to come to me with their questions and I will try and answer them in a clear and concise manner. As time goes on, I may create more structured classes if the demand is such.
