About Me

I’m the CEO and founder of eduFire and this is my teacher account. Here’s a bit about my education background and experience teaching:

I started my career teaching the ACT, SAT and GMAT for Kaplan Education. I loved teaching test prep and even helped one student improve 200 points on her GMAT! I’ve scored a 31 on the ACT, a 1370 (pre-normed) on the SAT, a 171 on the LSAT and a 770 on the GMAT.

I’ve also trained for Microsoft at one of their CTECs and helped hundreds of IT professional prepare to implement new technologies within their organizations. During my time as a teacher I achieved my MCSE, MCP and MCT certifications.

I’ve taught courses in Finance and Information Systems at my undergraduate alma mater, The University of the Minnesota (Carlson School of Management). In addition to receiving a BSB with highest honors from the Carlson School I also received my Masters in Business Administration from The UCLA Anderson School of Management.

I teach a wide variety of classes on eduFire including technology, entrepreneurship, test prep and most recently, a Macroeconomics preparatory courses for the CLEP exam.
