About Me

I’m one of the guys who started eduFire. This is my teacher account.I started my career teaching the ACT, SAT and GMAT for Kaplan Education. I loved teaching test prep and even helped one student improve 200 points on her GMAT!

My next job was a trainer for a Microsoft training facility. I helped train network administrators and other IT professionals on Windows 2000 and other Microsoft technologies. I’d like to think I could teach tech stuff here but so much has changed since I last taught tech…

I also taught classes at the University of Minnesota. That was a fun and very challenging experience. I’d love to teach at the University level again in the future.

Aside from eduFire I love working out (prepping for a half marathon right now!), reading, chess (recent addiction) and studying nutrition and personal development.
