About Me

Well, ‘who am I’ is a question I have recently started pondering upon. I will update the philosophical answers, once I find them. :-)

As of now, I am a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend, a volunteer, an ex-tax analyst, a teacher and a traveler on an interesting journey.

I have logged over 1600 hours teaching English and Hindi to primary and high school students. The hours teaching English have been spent mostly on writing skills and SAT preparation. My Hindi students have been quite diverse; from beginners to students who needed help in qualifying the Grade X, IGCSE, University of Cambridge (http://www.cie.org.uk/) examination.

I have worked as a Sales Tax Analyst at Siemens in Santa Clara, California. My career stint also includes 5 years at a nascent company doing whatever was needed to establish it. This meant from accounting to marketing to taking the garbage out.

Having spent more than half of my adult life in California and the balance in India, my perspectives tend to clash at times, and result in random musings listed at http://www.musings-reflections.blogspot.com/.
