Hello. My name is Haruka and I am an English major at a University in Japan. I like to teach Japanese language and Japanese culture to people that have a passion for Japan. You can check my blog about Japanese modern culture.
Also, I have American bf that learns Japanese. He recommended me to register on here because he says my teaching way is really easy to understand with concrete examples.
As for me, I’m really easy to talk and friendly. You don’t have to be afraid of making mistake. As a Japanese proverb says, “Failure is the mother of success.” :D
I like Anime and games. I’m a kind of geek, so if you are interested in Japan through them, I think we can talk nicely!
I also like fashion. If you are interested in fashion and beauty, I can teach you some trends or something popular in Japan!

- Everyday Japanese Course –
I will talk to you in Japanese a few minutes to figure out your level. Then I will teach new words, phrases, or nuance differences that are just above your level so that you can learn a lot quickly. This conversation is really free talk, so you can choose your favorite topic. Because you choose your own topic you can learn Japanese words about subjects that you are interested in.

Your Benefit:
You can gain vocabulary about what you want to know EXACTLY.
You can talk freely because of casual topics that you choose.
You can learn useful slang through casual conversation.

Topic Example…
Manga/Anime – You can learn how to express your thought toward your favorite Anime/Manga. Also, you can ask me about Anime situation in Japan, like which one is popular or my own recommendation
Lyrics – If you bring your favorite lyrics, I can teach you how to translate it. To translate lyrics is difficult because they use short phrases, so I can help you to understand your favorite music deeper.
Culture – You can ask me about Japanese culture. I know you can search it on website, but you can’t know if it exists or popular. I can teach you current culture based on tradition.
Love Relationship – If you want to be in a relationship with Japanese, don’t steal Japanese words or behavior from Anime, Drama, and Manga because they use different ways from REAL Japanese people way. I can teach dating manners, common sense about relationship etc.

You also can ask me just to fill your home work out without teaching to pass your homework, but I suggest that you let me teach it to you so that you can learn the material.
