About Me

My name is Yuriy, and my native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. I have experience in classroom teaching of language and culture to adult students, as well as one-on-one tutoring. My background includes theoretical linguistics and knowledge of several European languages: English, Swedish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian.

He is joy to work with and designed the lesson to match my existing skill level. He can discuss with you in detail exactly where to place your tongue to pronounce something. He also presents information in a way that is simple and easy to understand. This was a very fun tutoring session!!!

Yuriy is very patient and willing to spend time reviewing past concepts until they're clear. I had to take a break from our lessons for a few weeks, and he was supportive of my reviewing some material that I had forgotten before moving ahead.
