Hello !
My name is Laurent, I’m 38 years old, and l live near Paris. I am married, and I have a 22 months old daughter.
I am a qualified and enthusiastic native French tutor with a lot of teaching experience in French as a foreign Language. French is my native language and I love teaching online.
My goal is to give my students a passion for the French language. I will have my students practice French by reading texts (magazines, short stories, novels, etc.), watching movies (French movies with French subtitles), listening to French songs, watching French TVs, and finding French speaking friends.
My teaching will also require my students to express themselves in French by speaking and writing (for example : a summaries of a books or movie).
The most important thing for learning a foreign language is to spend time with the language and relate it back to one’s life.
I live in Amiens, a city near Paris (1 hour by train). My city is world-famous for its gothic cathedral and also thanks to the great writer Jules Verne who lived there most of his life.
I make appointments on weekdays from 7am to 10pm (French time). I also do a bit of teaching at weekends.
