About Me

ok well when i was little, like 5 or 6, a new show had came to America called “Pokemon”. as any little kid would do, i watched it every time it had come on. after a while i got so into that i wanted to go to wherever they had made the Pokemon cards at. or more technical, where they made Pokemon at. i had no idea that it came from Japan. let alone it was called anime. so i just started saying that i wanted to go to Japan. (but i didn’t know pokemon had came from there. weird :-| ) but anyway, i had collected the cards,games,shows, anything that had pokemon on it. so after i had grown up some, my mind wasn’t on pokemon anymore. instead, i just thought of normal stuff. like cloths, food, Etc. but i had always had a spot in myself that was missing. i didn’t know what it was, until a new show had come out called “Yu-gi-oh”. (im not really sure, even today, that yu-gi-oh is anime. it might be. i haven’t researched it.) but it just had a feeling to it that made me think of pokemon. so that made me feel happy a little. so yeah again i did what any kid would do, i collected stuff from that show, but not as much as pokemon. Oh! i forgot to mention somthing else (it was before yu-gi-oh) well after pokemon came an even AWESOME show called “Dragon Ball Z”. I tried to do Everything that they did in that show. well i didn’t try any of the fake stuff. but i tried to do the martial arts stuff of it. and one day i was at school with my friend that watched it as well, and we started to do the moves and all that stuff, but the teacher saw us and told our parents. my dad found out and he wouldn’t let me watch it anymore :( . but i was living over at my grandparents house so i watched it anyways :P. as time passed on there was not any other shows as interesting as those shows. i tried to watch other shows but they weren’t doing anything for me. so after a while, i wen’t and visited my mom up in MA. and met a friend up there that was into the cartoons i liked. and that is when i found out about the word “Anime”. (btw i was 14) so i started doing A LOT of research on anime. i only thought there was only like a handful of anime, boy was i wrong. so when i was up there, i was searching through the TV and found a show called “GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka” and as you may or may not know, i watched EVERY single episode of it. (yes it was anime) so when i left from there i went back to my grandparents. as time passed i just could not stop thinking about anime or (finally) “Manga”. so now im 18, and still love it. just this passed October my mom went to a yard sale and found a load of manga and a complete set of episodes of an anime i haven’t heard about. it was “Evangelion”. so she sent it to me and to tell you the truth, i watched the first episode and i didn’t think i would like it, boy was i wrong AGAIN. i watched every episode THAT day she sent them to me. she also sent me the manga i told you about. there was one manga in that box called “DearS”. again, i didn’t think i would like it because the cover looked like a girls book, once again i prove my stupidity again by thinking i wouldn’t like it. after i had read it, i called my mom to ask her if she could find anymore of the series. unfortunately she didn’t have the money. but as the power of the internet prevails, i found the anime to it. Again i watched every episode of that show. so i guess you can say im obsessed with anime and manga. Yup your right. and i guess you can say that that is the reason for me wanting to learn Japanese. Right again. so my dream, if i can only have one, is to live in the place that holds all of my interests. and you might think that i want to live there just because of that. well i did some research on Japan, and saw all of the beautiful landscape. trees, grass, mountains, Etc. its just so beautiful there as well as having my heart in it. so if i can’t go there i will try the next best thing…. learn the language that they speak over there.
