Tutor

Hello, I’m Christina! I have wide-reaching interests and hobbies and enjoy talking about all of them. . . but I especially enjoy talking about languages, linguistics, and culture.
For several years, I have offered language tutoring and art/music lessons offline— now I bring my knowledge to the web as well! I have pursued German Studies on the graduate level and am interested in becoming a professor one day. Currently, I am an exhibiting painter and work as a piano instructor at a music school. In my spare time, I like to knit and learn more about languages. I also love gardening and am very good at decorating a room/designing in general. I can teach you how to speak German or English (and offer a reduced rate if you are primarily interested in practicing conversation skills), help you with writing papers and literary analysis, guide you through Old Wheelock, discuss art/color theory and critique artworks, help you figure out which plants will grow best in your garden, give you design tips, do my best to answer any and all questions, or simply show you how to make a neat hat!

Allow me to say that this lady is not only good as others said . For me at least , she's amazingly and wonderfully great . She can notice every aspect of your language and help you out there. I now believe that teaching languages isn't just mere skills or knowledge but above that it's an inherent talent and very few people have that talent. Christina is not only one of those very few people but at the top of them . You may think that I exaggerated but I swear that I didn't . This is what I really feel. She can train the other tutors to do their work more perfectly.
Christina is a great tutor. I took English and Latin classes with her and enjoyed them a lot. Also, talking with her is interesting because she knows about different topics.
Christina is a good tutor she helped me, so she can help you. Take her class and you are guaranteed that it will not be in vain.
Christina was right on target in how taught this German Beginners class. Way to go Christina!
The level of instruction she prepared for the class was just the right amount, so that total beginners and those with some experience in the language, both felt very comfortable in her class. Her students were from different backgrounds and locations, but I feel that Christina treated all of us equally, with fairness and with respect.
In closing I'd like to say that I was so happy to have Christina as my Beginner German instructor here on Edufire!
