About Me

My name is Zoe, I am English and I live in France.

I have a TEFL diploma and several years of experience in teaching on a one to one basis, offering assistance with homework etc. and have held a few English conversation sessions locally. I also teach by telephone, using Skype, on other teaching platforms like Edufire and in 3 local primary schools (children from 7 to 11 years of age).

I have been in France since June 2000. When I arrived I couldn’t speak much French; I learnt by living with and talking to French people. My partner is French, he doesn’t speak English; we have 3 young children who are being brought up bilingually and I love teaching them, and I fully understand what it feels like to learn a new language.

I don’t profess to be an expert in the English language; I was brought up to speak properly (thank you mum!), so what I offer primarily is English conversation with a REAL native English speaker. My main aim is to help with pronunciation and vocabulary building. I also offer reading lessons, listening practice, grammar revision and help with preparation for exams like TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS and BULATS. (All materials needed will be sent to you before your lesson.)

Tell me what you want to learn. Suggest a topic of conversation. I will always do my best to cater to YOUR requirements.
