About Me

Most people know me by my nickname/handle Zyaga. However, my real name is Drew Kochanowski. You’re welcome to address me as either. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where I still currently reside. I’ve been into Programming, Security, Ethical Hacking, etc for 7 years, since I fell in love with it at the young age of 13.

My rule has always been “You can’t secure something you haven’t broken”.

What subjects(classes) do I teach?

My background is very strong in both Programming and Security, but you’ll probably find me teaching more Security/Ethical Hacking classes simply because there is less classes focused in that area on EduFire.

Security / Ethical Hacking

Most of my classes are created towards people who are not familiar with a lot of security concepts, but might be programmers, developers, website owners, etc who want to gain insight into how they can protect themselves.

Development

I’m most proficient in PHP and Python, but have developed with many other languages such as C, C++, C#, JAVA, BASIC, Visual Basic, etc. I may also teach some web classes, such as CSS/HTML/JavaSript to provide a more diverse environment.

What am I studying?

I’m currently studying Japanese. I haven’t been at it for very long, so my level in Japanese is at the very beginner level. I can read basic sentences, but start adding Kanji and I won’t be able to read it.

What else do I need to know?

First off, I only speak English(learning Japanese, but very beginner), so I’m sorry but I won’t be able to help anyone who asks questions in another language. But maybe if someone translates for us in the class, basic questions could be asked? ;)

ALL of my classes will have their content also on my blog in a post form as well as any files I may have included in my class such as a Power Point Presentation file, CheatSheet, etc.
